Cookie Exchange ...
Our story began with a happy accident in the kitchen.
Bored with the same old recipes, we opted to try something a little different for the annual holiday cookie exchange. You might be familiar with this “beloved” tradition… where you spend all night making several dozen different varieties, only to end up with pretty much the same ones you started out with?
We opened a bottle of wine, turned up the music and got to work experimenting with all kinds of new treats. In the end, only one survived the final taste test. Let me tell you, it was true love at first bite.
At the end of that very long night, we proudly packaged our bite size creations in their festive tins.
With no gingerbread men or snicker doodle backups, we knew we were taking a chance.
Guess what? They were a smash hit!
Almost instantly, the recipe requests started coming in!
In all the years of participating in the ”cookie exchange”, no one had ever asked for a recipe.

... Became Bella Bites
We happily began making our “Bella Bites” for birthday parties, showers, weddings and gifts. We brought them to every family gathering and neighborhood parties. The reaction was always the same-“Where did you get these and how can I get some too?!”
This enthusiastic support from our friends and family is what finally encouraged us to take one more big chance and share our “Bella Bites” with all of you today. We hope you enjoy them!
